Supply Chain Planner

About the position
In the role as Supply Planner, you will have overall responsibility for the company's inventory planning process regarding the basic product range for home furnishing and fashion products as well as for retail and e-commerce packaging. You are responsible for continuous monitoring of key figures such as stock availability and capital tied up in order to maximize sales at a healthy cost level.
The position involves many international contacts on the sales side, with subsidiaries and various sales teams, and on the supplier side in several production countries. You will have a close collaboration with the Production & Design team as well as with the Business Controller Merchandise & Sales.
You belong to the Supply Chain department and report to the Supply Chain Director
Areas of responsibility
- Production & Inventory Planning - Develop production and inventory planning strategies to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts
- Order Management - Create purchase orders, monitor deliveries and invoice control
- Inventory Optimization - Analyze inventory levels and turnover rates to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to optimize inventory efficiency
- Collaboration - Work closely with internal functions such as production & design team, sales team and business controller merchandise & sales to align supply chain activities with business strategies and sales forecasts
- Risk Management - Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuity of supply
- Operational Excellence – Continuous improvement, both within supply planning and general 3PL-processes
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience from international supply chain processes, with a focus on production and inventory planning, purchasing and forecasting
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in inventory planning software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Advanced knowledge of ERP- and BI systems
- Fluent in Swedish and English in speeching and writing
- Meritorious with industry experience, and experience in production planning and purchasing of textile products
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions and visualize your insights
