Financial Controller

About The Role
As a Financial Controller at The Lexington Company AB you will play a key role in ensuring that our accounting and financial reporting meets the highest standards. You will be a part of the Finance team of 4 people and report to Finance Director. You will work close to the accountants to ensure high quality in the day-to-day accounting and have the main responsibility of monthly and annual closing including group consolidation activities and annual reports. You will be responsible for overseeing and analyzing our financial operations, developing budgets and forecasts, and providing decision support for management.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly and annual closing for Lexington Company AB and its subsidaries
- Responsible for consolidation of Lexington Group
- Preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts
- Cashflow management and liquidity planning
- Development and implementation of financial processes and routines
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support decision-making processes
- Investigations and various ad hoc projects and tasks
- Collaborate with external auditors
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Academic degree within Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, within retail is meritorious
- Good knowledge of Swedish accounting principles and regulations
- Good knowledge in Excel
- Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Knowledge in NAV and Continia is a merit
- Experience from audit is meritorious
